So, you finally have had enough of a company on Facebook. Maybe they post too often or they post the same updates from Twitter. Perhaps they’re no longer interesting. Or maybe it’s just time to move on.
Unliking a page used to be easy — you just had to go to the Facebook page, click the “unlike” link and you’re done. More recently, unliking a page became a three-step process as you had to click the menu below the cover photo to do it.
Today I’ve realized that Facebook has made this even more difficult to unlike a page by making it a four-step process. The menu is gone!
So how do you do it? Here’s how to unlike a Facebook page:
- Go to the Facebook page.
- Click the “About” link.
- Click the “Liked” button until the menu pops up. (You might need to hold down the mouse for a few seconds.)
- Click “Unlike”.
I’m not sure what motivated Facebook to make it more difficult to unlike a page, but you should know that it is possible!
I will update this page if steps ever change. In the meantime, I hope this post is helpful.
